Unique live edge style solid wood shelves. Handcrafted from 4cm Scandinavian pine, these heavy duty shelves would look ideal in every room in your house. Various size and colour options are available. The boards used to make these unique shelves are 15 or 20cm Deep, 4cm thick and come in various lengths from 30cm to 200cm.

Understanding what you are purchasing?

You are purchasing a wavey edge wooden shelf handmade from Scandinavian pine and handmade industrial steel brackets.

Securing to a wall & assembly:
I advise fixing shelves to a solid wall, I do provide plasterboard fixings upon request. Please select the fixing type you require on the product page. Options available are Solid Wall or Plasterboard fixings. You must ensure the shelves have a good solid fixing when installing. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the brackets are installed safely by a competent person. The wood used to make these shelves is very heavy duty so a good solid fixing is required.

Brackets:
UK Manufactured from the highest quality cold-formed steel. Raw steel non coated brackets can rust to some degree even indoors! To stop rust please choose the clear-coated steel, Black or white option.

Bracket Finish Options:
RAW STEEL

100% natural and bare. It will rust, even indoors, but it’s perfect if you want to finish the brackets yourself. Or if you want an industrial, weathered look.

CLEAR POWDER COAT
Creates an industrial, raw steel look, without rusting. Clear coat adds a slight sheen to the metal and seals the steel for a long rust free life.

COLOUR POWDER COAT
Available in black & white. Powder coat protects your brackets from rust.

I use a variation of couriers to deliver our furniture, I will choose the best courier for the specific product you have ordered. Please ensure you provide your mobile number and email address for courier notifications. If these details are not provided upon order this may cause a delay. In the event of damage to your parcel, please report this with photographic evidence within 72hrs of delivery, if this is not reported within 72hrs we cannot claim for damaged goods.

For overseas deliveries from the UK – Import duties & VAT will need to be paid by the customer, they are not covered by us.

Custom Made
The product you are purchasing is custom made to your exact requirements, I customise to the nearest millimetre and paint to a specific colour. I do not keep a stock of the product this is handmade for each individual customer. Because of this reason the product is none returnable. If there is a genuine fault with your furniture I will replace the item you have purchased. I will not refund or replace the item you have purchased if you have measured incorrectly, selected the incorrect colour or you simply have changed your mind.

Wood
Product quality is paramount and as such, I only source the highest quality kiln dried timber to make the furniture. I use a variation of woods depending on the finish you choose. The woods include reclaimed Whitewood/Pine scaffold boards and FSC certified Scandinavian pine from sustainably managed forests.

Wood Uniqueness
Some of the wood I use for the furniture is recycled and reclaimed wood. This gives all of the products individuality and uniqueness as no two pieces of wood will ever be the same. This adds beautiful character to your furniture.

I pride myself in the ability to restore wood, bringing it back to life and drawing out the beauty and intricacy of the detail and grain. All finished items go through a rigorous sanding process.

The item you purchase could have marks, cracks, gaps, knots, shakes & indentations. The wood is not intended to be perfectly flat or smooth as the texture is part of the character. I do make every effort to remove splinters and sharp edges however, cannot guarantee that there won’t be any present as wood is a natural product. Please be aware that over time wood changes shape and texture and it is possible that splinters/cracks could form. Please note all of the above still applies even when painted & oiled; cracks, gaps, holes, knots, shakes, saw marks (This is not a fault)

Radiators/Heat
The shelves look great over radiators but please note the heat can affect the wood as this is a natural product. If you are purchasing and you are installing above a radiator I recommend a gap of 10cm to allow the heat to flow through. I would advise waiting 2-3 weeks before placing the shelf above a radiator, this will allow the wood to acclimatise to its new environment in your home.

Cleaning/Care
I advise only cleaning the wood with a clean microfibre cloth rather than using any harsh or abrasive cleaning products as this will cause damage to the wood.

Oils, Paints & Wax
If you choose one of the painted options this will be painted by hand and finished with a premium furniture wax. None of the products are factory sprayed, all of the products have a rustic feel. Some of the paints, oil’s & wax we select for the furniture is human, animal, plant, toy & food safe. Please check with me for further details.

Before you place your order please check current lead times. Whilst every effort is made to complete your order on time, as the pieces are handmade, sometimes delays can unfortunately happen. I will notify you immediately if this is the case.
