A true original statement piece that looks great in any garden setting. Bold chunky 4 inch solid wooden sleepers made up this garden bench. It sits solidly on two handmade steel box section legs made from 25 x 50mm steel finished in Satin Black.

The combination of thick solid wood and strong steel box legs come together to create this bespoke piece of industrial style furniture that will be a centrepiece in any outdoor area. With the added detail of seamless welds gives the box legs an industrial yet modern appeal. These benches look great when styled with soft furnishings and a customer has even had one of these for indoor use!

The wooden sleepers:
The solid sleeper bench is made up by a number of separate pieces which are firmly joined together and then solidified further when the attachment of the metal frame which has lots of fixing points to make it very sturdy and long lasting. The boards will be sanded smooth and any sharp edges removed whilst still maintaining character. The wood may contain knots or splits but these just add to the character of the bench! All wood will be sealed with clear sealer (coloured stains available upon request).

Steel legs:
The handmade steel legs have the welds ground down flush with the frame on the outside faces for a cleaner, neater finish. They are finished in satin black paint as standard however other colours such as white are available upon request.

This bench will be delivered fully assembled due to its weight we wouldn’t expect the customer to have to assemble this.

Due to the weight of these benches they cannot be sent via the standard courier therefore they are hand delivered. Please CONTACT us prior to placing your order if you are outside of England I.e Scotland or Wales to make sure we can deliver your handmade bench to your home!

We use a variation of couriers to deliver our products , we will choose the best courier for the specific product you have ordered. Due to the weight of these sleeper benches we will hand deliver to ensure safe delivery of your handmade item. Please ensure you provide us with your mobile number and email address for courier notifications. If these details are not provided upon order this may cause a delay. In the event of damage to your parcel, please report this to us with photographic evidence within 72hrs of delivery, if this is not reported within 72hrs we cannot claim for damaged goods.

Custom Made
The product you are purchasing is custom made to your exact requirements, we customise to the nearest millimetre and finish to a specific colour of your choice. We do not keep a stock of the product this is handmade for each individual customer. Because of this reason the product is none returnable. If there is a genuine fault with your furniture we will replace the item you have purchased. Refunds or replacements of the item you have purchased cannot be issued if you have measured incorrectly, selected the incorrect colour or you simply have changed your mind.

Wood
Product quality is paramount and as such, we only source the highest quality kiln dried timber to make the furniture. We use a variation of woods depending on the finish you choose. The woods include reclaimed Whitewood/Pine scaffold boards and FSC certified Scandinavian pine from sustainably managed forests. As well as Oak.

Wood Uniqueness
Some of the wood we use for the furniture is recycled and reclaimed wood. This gives all of our products individuality and uniqueness as no two pieces of wood will ever be the same. This adds beautiful character to our furniture.

We pride ourselves in the ability to restore wood, bringing it back to life and drawing out the beauty and intricacy of the detail and grain. All finished items go through a rigorous sanding process.

The item you purchase could have marks, cracks, gaps, knots, shakes & indentations. The wood is not intended to be perfectly flat or smooth as the texture is part of the character. Every effort is made to remove splinters and sharp edges however, we cannot guarantee that there won’t be any present as wood is a natural product. Please be aware that over time wood changes shape and texture and it is possible that splinters/cracks could form.
