Office Desk With Black Industrial legs | Custom sizes and colours l 60cm – 180cm

Chunky wood office desk with rectangular steel section legs, available in 20 colours for the wooden top and a range for the steel legs too! Handcrafted in our workshop in South Yorkshire – these chunky wooden desks are available in a range of lengths, widths and heights of your choosing. A very large selection of colours are available from the traditional rustic colours to Grey’s and white’s if you prefer to go for more of a scandi/modern theme. Chunky solid handpicked FSC, 4cm thick Scandinavian pine is used for these – sourced from sustainably managed forests. These desks are bonded together using biscuit joints and further secured underneath with either wooden cross supports or metal bracing depending on the size of the desk chosen.

Understanding what you are purchasing?

You are purchasing a solid wood desk with two 25 x 50mm heavy duty industrial handmade rectangular section legs.

Length – 60cm to 180cm (43cm width) or 60cm to 130cm (65cm width)
Depth/Width Options: 43cm or 65cm (If you require a custom depth over 43cm please choose the 65cm option & put the depth in the order notes)
Thickness: 4cm Chunky Wood
Leg Height: 71cm as standard(finished height is approx 75cm with wooden top) – If you require a custom height please specify in additional order notes box

The particular desk in the advert photos was 165cm long (to fill the specific space in the customers’ room) and 65cm wide. The leg height was also custom to avoid the window sill – a bespoke design totally unique for the customers’ needs!

Assembly.
These desks are designed to be freestanding, sat on the industrial style box section legs. A screwdriver will be required to attach the legs to the table. Holes are pre-drilled for the legs to be attached slightly inset from the ends of the table top. If you have a specific requirement for the leg position because of skirting boards or other room dependent specifications, please contact us before placing your order so we can try to accommodate your needs. Your desk legs will be detached for shipping and supplied in flat pack form to prevent any damage to the table top in transit.

We use a variation of couriers to deliver our furniture. The type and size of the product you have ordered will determine the courier selected. Please ensure you provide your mobile number and email address for courier notifications. If these details are not provided upon order this may cause a delay. In the event of damage to your parcel, please report this with photographic evidence within 72hrs of delivery, if this is not reported within 72hrs we cannot claim for damaged goods.

Custom Made
The product you are purchasing is custom made to your exact requirements, we customise to your specifications specific colour of your choice. We do not keep a stock of the product this is handmade for each individual customer. Because of this reason the product is none returnable. If there is a genuine fault with your furniture we will replace the item you have purchased. Refunds or replacements of the item you have purchased cannot be issued if you have measured incorrectly, selected the incorrect colour or you simply have changed your mind.

Timber
Product quality is paramount and as such, we only source the highest quality kiln dried timber to make the furniture. The timber used is FSC certified Scandinavian pine from sustainably managed forests.

Wood Uniqueness
Some of the wood we use for the furniture is recycled and reclaimed wood. This gives all of the products individuality and uniqueness as no two pieces of wood will ever be the same. This adds beautiful character to your furniture.

We pride ourselves in the ability to restore wood, bringing it back to life and drawing out the beauty and intricacy of the detail and grain. All finished items go through a rigorous sanding process.

The item you purchase could have marks, cracks, gaps, knots, shakes & indentations. The wood is not intended to be perfectly flat or smooth as the texture is part of the character. We do make every effort to remove splinters and sharp edges however, cannot guarantee that there won’t be any present as wood is a natural product. Please be aware that over time wood changes shape and texture and it is possible that splinters/cracks could form. Please note all of the above still applies even when painted & oiled; cracks, gaps, holes, knots, shakes, saw marks (This is not a fault)

Radiators/Heat
These desks look great over radiators but please note the heat can affect the wood as this is a natural product. If you are purchasing and you are installing above a radiator we recommend a gap of 10cm to allow the heat to flow through. We would advise waiting 2-3 weeks before placing the desk above a radiator, this will allow the wood to acclimatise to its new environment in your home.

Cleaning/Care
It is advised to only clean the wood with a clean microfibre cloth rather than using any harsh or abrasive cleaning products as this will cause damage to the wood.

Oils, Paints & Wax
If you choose one of the painted options this will be painted by hand and finished with a premium furniture wax. None of the products are factory sprayed, all of the products have a rustic feel. Some of the paints, oil’s & wax we select for the furniture is human, animal, plant, toy & food safe. Please check with me for further details.
